We are looking for a Student Support Manager to join our team.
Summary of Role
The Student Support Team has a range of responsibilities, working closely with colleagues in the Academic team and collaborating with multiple departments including Admissions, Finance and Quality and Enhancement in order to provide a high level of student support across an expanding portfolio of programmes.
Student Support Managers are responsible for the effective line management of a team of Student Support Advisers and ensuring the provision of a high-quality service and professional advice, guidance and support to positively influence student retention, satisfaction and successful student outcomes.

What you’ll bring to the role
Essential
An Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
Experience of working in higher education supporting students
High level of personal motivation, resilience, diplomacy and tact
Evidence of the ability to manage a high workload to tight deadlines
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Evidence of taking ownership and problem solving
Excellent IT skills with a desire to embrace new technology
Desirable
A Postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification, or to be actively studying towards this
A Psychology Qualification
Line management experience
Evidence of team working and motivation of peers
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
