We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and target driven International Market Manager to support student recruitment activities to our Canadian University partners, the University of Alberta and the University of Victoria. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will have a good understanding of international recruitment within the education sector, and you will be able to demonstrate an awareness of at least one major overseas market. You will have excellent organisational skills and will be a self-starter with experience of working internationally.


University of Alberta, is located in the City of Edmonton and sits within the QS ranked world’s top 100 universities, it is known for its first-class research, teaching and employability.


University of Victoria, with a picturesque location on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, is extremely well known for its large and effective Co-Op programme where students can work which will earn both credit and a salary.

What you’ll bring to the role 

  • Background in international education recruitment or marketing

  • University education

  • Fluency in English

  • The ability to communicate well (both written and spoken) with range of audiences.

  • Goal-driven and results oriented approach

  • Demonstrable team work

  • Customer focused

  • A positive outlook with a creative approach to problem solving

  • Strong organisational and planning skills

  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, to meet challenging targets.

  • Experience of travelling and willingness to travel independently throughout the region.

  • Flexibility with working hours including working over weekends when required.

  • To be IT literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Experience of customer relationship management software (particularly Salesforce)

  • An appreciation of different cultures and working styles.
