We are looking for a Student Administration Manager to join our team.
The Student Administration Manager is responsible for providing a professional support service to all colleagues at Kaplan Open Learning (KOL); including responsibility for co-ordination and maintenance of the administration processes and frameworks for our partner Universities. The team provides support, advice and guidance in relation to a range of administration processes including academic regulations, Board of Examiners procedures, academic integrity and extenuating circumstances.

What you’ll bring to the role
Essential
A first degree
Experience of working in an academic administrative role in higher education.
Experience of interpreting and explaining complex policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate with staff at all levels to provide advice and guidance on quality assurance policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with staff at all levels.
Excellent IT skills, primarily Word, Excel, Powerpoint and online meeting software such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Desirable
Experience of dealing with higher education administration procedures including academic integrity, extenuating circumstances and late submission.
Experience of problem solving in an educational environment
Experience of servicing Committees and Boards
Experience of line management.
Advanced Excel skills such as use of formulas, pivot tables and V lookup
