This role is for a dynamic, energetic, and target-driven Senior Student Recruitment Manager who will drive student recruitment from the region to our partner universities in the US and Canada. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you’ll bring an unmatched understanding of international students recruitment, preferably with a North America education or professional working background and knowledge and strong understanding of the Sub-Saharan Africa region. You will be able to demonstrate an awareness of at least one major market in the region, and you will have excellent organisational skills and will be a self-starter with experience of working internationally.

About You

  • Background in international education sales.

  • Experience recruiting for or working with US and Canada universities

  • University education (preferably Canada graduate).

  • Awareness and understanding of the US and Canada visa system.

  • Fluency in English

  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills, across a wide range of audiences

  • Demonstrated team player with a “can do” attitude to overcoming obstacles

  • Goal-driven and results oriented profile

  • Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively under tight deadlines, under pressure and with competing priorities

  • The ability to identify and manage risk and knowing when to escalate areas of risk where applicable

  • Ability to learn independently and to master and apply new knowledge and skills quickly

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadline, to meet challenging targets

  • Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, self-motivated and committed to achieving organisational goals.

  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the region very soon into the role

  • Flexibility with working hours including working over weekends when required

  • IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable with learning and adopting new digital tools, including AI-powered platforms, to enhance efficiency and leverage autonomy.
