What you will do


As a Senior College Services Advisor in the Welfare and Student Support team, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting the well-being and success of our students. Your responsibilities will include supporting and monitoring students with welfare concerns, ensuring they have the assistance they need to thrive academically and personally. You'll provide dedicated support to under-18 students, fostering a safe and nurturing environment tailored to their unique needs.


Additionally, you’ll assist students with mental health or medical challenges by helping them access appropriate services and making referrals to external agencies such as healthcare providers, local authorities, and charities. This role is a chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives, combining compassionate care with practical solutions to ensure every student feels supported and empowered.

What you’ll bring to the role 

  • Customer Service & Communication: Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to encourage these qualities in others.

  • Experience & Interests: A strong interest in education, particularly in supporting the wellbeing and safeguarding of international students.

  • Technical & Organisational Skills: Proficiency in IT (especially Microsoft Excel, including formulae, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables), strong organisational abilities, and effective time management.

  • Teamwork & Leadership: Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams, with experience leading activities or small teams to achieve goals.

  • Personal Attributes: Attention to detail, confidentiality awareness, initiative, flexibility, and a strong commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
