We are seeking online lecturers with an International Business Law background to join our dynamic online faculty. In this role, you will lead and support the learning of our online students working in close collaboration with our Russell Group partner, the University of Liverpool. Successful candidates will also receive honorary teacher status from the University.

We are looking for individuals with experience in LLM International Business Law, particularly in any of the following subject areas:

• Competition Law

• Intellectual Property Law

• International Sale of Goods

• Conflict of Laws in Business and Commerce

• Critical Legal Thinking in International Business Law

What you’ll bring to the role 

You will have a strong academic background and practical applied experience in one or more of the relevant subject areas outlined above. You will also have experience of teaching and assessment on higher education programmes at postgraduate level as well as an enthusiasm for online learning.

Essential criteria

• Doctoral qualification in a related subject

• Experience of teaching and assessing at level 7 within the UK Higher Education sector

• Excellent IT skills, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online meeting software.

• Good interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with academic colleagues, tutors and students both face-to-face and in a virtual environment.

• Experience of working with students from a range of cultural backgrounds

• Excellent written communication skills in English

• Reliable internet connection.

• Due to the freelance nature of this role, we cannot accept applications from candidates on a student visa (previously a tier 4 visa)

 Desirable criteria

• Experience of teaching in an online environment

• Familiarity of the UK Higher Education sector and UK Quality Assurance 

• Relevant Higher Education teaching qualification.
