We are looking for a Learning and Teaching Director to join our team.

What you’ll bring to the role 
 

Essential:


  • Strong commitment to student-centred approaches to learning and teaching

  • Experience of leading a project or initiative that has led to enhancements in a curriculum area(s)

  • Knowledge of the needs of international students

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience of leading and managing direct and indirect reports

  • Resource allocation and organizational skills

  • Ability to analyse data to make informed choice / conclusions

  • Ability to work collaboratively across a range of teams from diverse backgrounds

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and preferably a UK Master’s degree or higher


Desirable:


  • A teaching qualification

  • Experience of studying / working / living outside of your home country

The selection process will consist of a number of stages.

  • Initial interviews will be held online in late October.

  • For successful candidates, a second round on-site in Nottingham will be held, with interviews, a series of tasks and a chance to meet staff and students.

  • Then for the preferred candidate(s), there will be a final stage involving key stakeholders at Kaplan Pathways and University of Nottingham.
