Sessional Tutor (Pre-Sessional English and Academic Skills – Southend Campus)
Hourly rate/s: £31.65
Do you have the ability to bring your subject to life? Would you enjoy helping international students to build confidence and become independent learners?
We are looking for passionate teachers to join our EAP and Study Skills Team for Summer 2022 based in Southend, Essex. The roles will involve delivering a range of modules aimed at helping students improve their language and study skills to prepare for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role will be of particular interest to candidates who have significant teaching experience, experience working with international students, facilitating learner-centred learning, and a demonstrable desire to see students achieve their goals. We will have multiple intakes and are looking to fill positions on a 10 & 5-week programme. These courses will typically end on 16th September 2022.
Teaching will be delivered in person on the University of Essex campus in Southend, so it is important for candidates to be located in the local area and comfortable with this approach.
