We are looking for a Tutor (Computer Science) to join our team. 

 

At the University of Essex International College (UEIC), we’re looking to appoint a Tutor (Computer Science) to join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes at the University of Essex, from January 2024.  


UEIC has been set up in partnership with the University of Essex to provide new routes for international students wishing to study degrees at the University. The University of Essex is one of the most international universities in Britain and is also known for its bold approach to teaching, research and innovation. Located in the historic Constable Building on the University’s Colchester campus, the college delivers undergraduate Foundation, International Year One, Pre-Master’s and Pre-Sessional English programmes and a range of other support and extracurricular services.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for Secondary teacher or Lecturer, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role 
 

We’re looking for candidates with expertise and teaching experience in the following areas, however, there may be other areas within the programmes which the successful candidate will teach:


  • Mathematics for Computing

  • Introduction to Databases

  • Object-Oriented Programming

  • Introduction to Programming

  • Web Development

  • Computer Architecture

  • Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence
