College Services Advisor (Fixed Term Until September 2024)

The College Services team play a vital role covering all aspects of the student life-cycle, from registration, to course completion. The team provides support across a range of areas, including academic and quality assurance, student progression, compliance, student wellbeing and administration. 


As a College Services Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the team to ensure the effective and efficient administration of all processes and procedures.


This role will initially focus on academic administration, compliance and University progression.



As a College Services Advisor you will: 


  • Provide excellent customer service in a student facing environment. 
  • Deal with student enquiries by providing a flexible, personalised and inclusive approach. 
  • Maintain accurate information on the student management system. 
  • Support pre-arrival, arrivals, registration and welcome events.  
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of student-facing content. 
  • Support the development and delivery of extra-curricular activities. 
  • Provide administrative support across the whole student life cycle. 
  • Support students in relation to wellbeing and safeguarding. 
  • Assist compliance with regulatory frameworks. 
  • Have a flexible approach to work, for example, some out of hour's work may be required during busy periods. 
  • Work with the College team to continuously improve the student experience. 
  • Any other duties as required by the College Management Team. 



Candidate profile:


  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service skills. 
  • High level/good of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interest in working in education and in particular international students. 
  • Confident with IT, in particular Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. 
  • Willingness to work flexibly. 
  • Experience of working as part of a team to achieve goals. 
  • Attention to detail.  
  • Ability to take initiative.
