We are currently looking for full-time permanent tutors who cover a range of skills to join our team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a team to provide fantastic learning opportunities for our students.

Located in the leafy West End, on the campus of the University of Glasgow, Glasgow International College (GIC), has been helping prepare thousands of international students for undergraduate and postgraduate study at the University since 2008.  Through a combination of flexibility, talent, and enthusiasm, we dedicate ourselves to ensuring our students thrive academically and attain the required level for entry onto a wide range of degree programmes at the University of Glasgow.

We are looking for tutors interested in teaching at the Year 1 undergraduate or pre-postgraduate level. We would particularly encourage applications from tutors that would like to support students in developing the skills they need to be successful in university: this includes areas such as research skills, academic writing, presentation skills and group-work. We also provide focussed teaching to students across a range of areas. We can provide support to tutors who would like to broaden their skills into teaching any of the above.

The areas of focus include Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Programming, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Accountancy and Finance, Economics, Marketing, Management, and Law.  The above list is not exhaustive, and we would welcome applications from anyone who feels they can support our students in preparation for university study.  The balance between generalised preparation and subject-specific teaching will vary throughout the academic year as the student population varies.
