We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our team. 


As the HR Advisor for Kaplan International Pathways, this role is designed for a proactive and solutions-focused individual eager to elevate their HR career. You will experience a range of HR activities that will accelerate your professional growth. Reporting to the HR Manager and part of the HR Pathways team, you will be engaging in dynamic projects, supporting with HR policies, and fostering Learning & Development initiatives as well as becoming a go-to expert in Employee Relations.

What you’ll bring to the role 

  • Detailed knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices with strong judgment in handling employee relations matters.

  • Strong listening and communication (verbal/written) skills.

  • Solid HR experience working within the commercial sector, or Education with some exposure in a trade union environment (desirable).

  • Experience in managing employee relations casework.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and challenge when necessary.

  • High personal credibility, with the ability to influence and coach managers, while confidently challenging when required.

  • Proactive, organised with strong attention to detail, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Self-sufficient and proactive in identifying opportunities to drive us forward.

  • Experience or interest with learning and development.

  • CIPD qualified (desirable) with evidence of continuous professional development.
