We are looking for a Exam Board Administrator to join our team.

 

Role Summary


The Quality and Enhancement team is the central focus for the management of governance and academic quality assurance within Kaplan Open Learning (KOL). The Exam Board Administrator is responsible for providing a professional administrative support service to ensure the effective delivery of Exam Board procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our University Partners to ensure appropriate quality assurance procedures are followed.

  • Prepare Exam Board documentation, including academic grade profiles and other related information in line with University Partner requirements.

  • Participate in Pre-Board meetings to review and check Board of Examiners documentation for accuracy.

  • Service the Boards of Examiners in line with University Partner requirements, including production of Post Board documents.

  • Ensure that the Student Management System (SMS) is accurately updated with Board of Examiners outcomes.

  • Produce and send Board of Examiners letters to notify students of their outcomes.

  • Respond to student queries regarding the Board of Examiners processes, signposting to other departments or the University Partner where appropriate.

  • Occasional attendance may be required in the Leeds office to facilitate Pre and Post Board processes in line with University Partner requirements.

  • Occasional attendance at graduation events at partner university campuses.

  • What you’ll bring to the roleBachelor’s degree or experience of working in the education sector in a similar role

  • Previous office administrative experience in a complex environment

  • Excellent standard of digital literacy in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)

  • Good organisational, prioritising and written communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a fast learner who excels at working using their own initiative

  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate own workload, managing own time and ability to work to set/multiple deadlines

  • Ability to work without supervision and as a member of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues when required

*Please note that the annual leave entitlement will be calculated on a pro rata basis if the role is part time.
