We are looking for an English Cover Teacher to join our team. 

 

We are looking to appoint a committed, passionate English language cover teacher to deliver engaging and successful lessons to classes of multilingual students. As a teacher on the front line of our academic delivery, you will pay particular attention to ensuring lessons are well planned, appropriate to the level and encourage interaction and an effective mix of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will combine professionalism in the classroom and attention to the administrative requirements of the role with a high level of approachability and concern for the needs of your students. Possibility of full time hours as enrolment increases.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as an English Language Teacher, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • TEFLI Status - For example via a CELTA or equivalent

  • Ability to develop learner autonomy with students

  • Ability to find and present solutions to problems

  • Ability to motivate students to achieve goals

  • Ability to relate to and build rapport with international students

  • Ability to teach effectively, achieve results and inspire students to learn

  • Ability to use initiative when required

  • Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and as a member of a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office
