We are looking for two Assistant Student Recruitment Managers to join our team.


We are looking to appoint dynamic and target-driven Assistant/Student Recruitment Managers to support student recruitment efforts in South Korea. The position will work alongside the recruitment team to develop and implement ambitious sales, marketing and recruitment activities for our colleges in the UK, Canada and the USA. The candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be a self-starter with experience working internationally across diverse markets, cultures and economies. The person will be responsible for achieving student recruitment targets, both market-specific and destination specific, for South Korea, parts of North Asia and possibly other regions as defined by the company.


This position is based in Kaplan International’s Korea office and reports to the Senior Student Recruitment Manager, South Korea. The work will involve frequent collaboration with colleagues from various Kaplan partner universities and Kaplan International departments located throughout the region.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Relevant experience of working in the education sector, ideally in a student recruitment role.

  • Understanding of international education systems.

  • An undergraduate degree (United Kingdom, Canada or United States preferred ) or equivalent.

  • Results-orientated, ambitious and highly motivated, ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences and levels of organisational seniority.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within inflexible deadlines.

  • Willing to travel domestically and overseas independently and to work irregular hours as required (required to work during weekends and public holidays).

  • Self-motivation, ability to prioritise effectively, be flexible and manage your time under pressure.

  • A sound understanding of the UK’s further and higher education and/or experience of international students studying overseas.

  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation, personal commitment and independence to undertake periods of work with low supervision.

  • High level of literacy and attention to detail to produce clear concise reports.

  • Fluent in English and Korean.
